Born in Canada, Debbie Bridge began her singing career at the University of British Columbia, (Canada) obtaining a Bachelor of Music – Honours Degree. Upon graduation, she received a scholarship to study at the Universität Augsburg, (Germany) to further her studies of German Lieder and Opera with Sena Jurinac.

She now pursues a busy career in Opera, Concert and Music Theatre work. Her most recent projects include Helena’s Songs, a collaborative work with movement and dance, centred on Alban Berg’s Seven Early Songs and producing the New Classics – a radio show devoted to UK contemporary classical music.

Among many engagements in more recent years there have been Rosina (The Barber of Seville) with Opera Brava, Maria (West Side Story) with Viva Musica, Canada, Dinah (Trouble in Tahiti) with Echo/Reverb Opera, Musetta (La Bohème) with Echo/Reverb Opera, Susannah (The Marriage of Figaro) with the Lambeth Orchestra, Fraskita & Mercedes (Carmen) with Opera Box and Opera Brava, Princess Slayer (Opera Galactica) with Universal Arts for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, the World premiere of Colourations for New Music Brighton, Virtue and Valletto (The Coronation of Poppea) with Opera Box, a founding member of Scene Stealers – an all female opera/cabaret group, The Three Sopranos at the Congress Theatre, Teutonic Tunesmiths in the Brighton Fringe Festival, Sounds of America in the Brighton Fringe Festival, Soprano Soloist for the Mass in C by Beethoven with the Lambeth Orchestra, Soprano Soloist for the African Sanctus in the Adur Festival and US/West End tours of HMS Pinafore with the D’Oyly Carte - production and recording.

Debbie has also been privileged to perform at the Wiener Saal, in Salzburg during the world famous Festival season. Her performing career to date allows her to work in Germany, Austria, England, Scotland, Wales, US and Canada. She has worked in the West End of London at the Savoy Theatre and the Royal Festival Hall. She’s even sung for Prince Andrew!
