The Story So Far…
As a Canadian born soprano, I am busy performing solo recitals throughout the UK. I was educated at the University of British Columbia where I won a scholarship for Lieder to further my studies in Salzburg under Kirsten Meyer. I later won a German government award to study with Sena Jurinac. Highlights while in Austria included being selected for a solo performance at the Wiener Saal in Salzburg. In addition to my recital work, I have also done many stage roles, including Musetta in La Bohème, Casilda in The Gondoliers and Rosalinda in Die Fledermaus.
Since I’ve come to England, I’ve worked closely with Jonathan Hinden, Robin Bowman, Benjamin Luxon on song and vocal interpretation and Delia Lindon and Robin Martin-Oliver on acting technique. I have had the pleasure of doing a recording (under the label of TER Recordings) of HMS Pinafore with D’Oyly Carte at the famous Abbey Road Studio in London. In addition to having performed solo recitals at the Brighton Festival, I have also performed in Opera Galactica, by Richard Lewis, which featured at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
