Radio is a new adventure for Debbie, it started with a call from Radio Reverb (97.2 fm), a community based Radio station in Brighton. They were looking for new and interesting programs to help launch their radio station onto fm and on the internet. “The New Classics” is the show I submitted, a show devoted to today’s UK writer’s of contemporary classical music. Enjoying talking to people on air, but wanting to do something more community based, Debbie created “Debbie’s Mixed Bag – Fine Arts and Fine People of Brighton and Hove.” These are 10 minute slots, once a week on Sean Creed’s show, bRighToN pHlUx, where Debbie interviews various artists, charities and not for profit businesses on what they are doing in and around the community.
